Residency- and fellowship-trained in TMJ, orofacial pain disorders, and dental sleep medicine, Jason Pehling, DDS, MS, has a dental practice limited to the treatment of TMD, facial pain and dental sleep medicine at the TMJ Orofacial Disorders Center in Seattle. Dr. Pehling is a Northwest native and attended the Bellevue Christian School where he was a two-time state wrestling champion. Dr. Pehling obtained an athletic scholarship and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon. Additionally he received a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco. Following that, he completed a Master of Science, an NIH sponsored Postdoctoral Pain Fellowship, and a residency in TMJ and orofacial pain from the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Pehling is board-certified by the American Board of Craniofacial Pain and the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Pehling is a featured expert in the local and national media. Dr. Pehling was the first dentist in the Northwest trained in the use of the Biomet Ultrathin TMJ Arthroscope and the use of Botox® injections for the treatment of bruxism and jaw and facial pain.
