Nathan Christensen, DDS, brings more than a decade of experience in dentistry and endodontics to Ramona Family Dentistry in Ramona, California.
Dr. Christensen earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery with high honors from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California. Since entering private practice, Dr. Christensen has dedicated countless hours to augmenting his professional skills, including the completion of an extensive continuum in endodontics at the University of California Los Angeles and a certificate in advanced comprehensive esthetics from McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry in Aliso Viejo, California. Dr. Christensen also earned a certificate from the Zimmer Implant Institute and is a preferred provider for Invisalign®.
Professionally, Dr. Christensen is an advocate for biomimetic – or minimally invasive – dentistry. Whenever possible, he works to preserve his patients’ natural tooth structure, using safe and effective techniques. Dr. Christensen also knows that it isn’t always easy to visit the dentist. He works to provide a comfortable, welcoming experience for all of his patients and maintains a license to perform oral conscious sedation. Dr. Christensen is also a proud fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
When he isn’t working with patients or honing his professional skills, Dr. Christensen enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 10 years, his three daughters, and their dog. Dr. Christensen also enjoys being physically active and loves running. During the last few years, he’s completed several races, including a couple of marathons. Southern California native, James Beck, DDS, is a skilled and compassionate dentist who provides excellent dental care for the community of Glendale, California, at Alta Canyada Dental Group.
Dr. Beck has been working as a family and general dentist since 2012. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He stays up-to-date with all of the latest developments in his field by attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Dr. Beck knew that he wanted to be a dentist as early as fourth grade. His dad, who was also a dentist, came to speak at Dr. Beck’s class, inspiring him to follow in his footsteps. He was fortunate enough to be able to practice with his dad for a few years before he retired.
Dr. Beck is drawn to dentistry because it enables him to help people and make them happy while getting to work with his hands. Since childhood, he’s been passionate about fixing things, whether it be toys, bikes, or cars. He enjoys getting the opportunity to make things work better, and he looks forward to making his patients’ dental experience warm, friendly, and enjoyable.
