A Washington native, Dr. Jon Martin joined the Northwest Dental Services & Denture Implant Center in Tacoma, Washington, over a decade ago.
Dr. Martin graduated from the University of Washington in 1999 with a bachelor of science in cellular and molecular biology. Dr. Martin went on to earn his doctorate in dentistry at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canadaand completed his post-doctoral residency in Portland, Oregon. He went on to earn his Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Martin has participated in multiple mission trips to Honduras to provide dental care. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife and two sons, and he enjoys activities such as mountaineering, scuba diving, and traveling.

Dr. Zachary “Dr. Z” Miller is thrilled to be part of Finn Hill Dental. Along with his wife, Alexis—who is from the local area—he chose Kitsap for its welcoming community and beautiful natural surroundings. After most recently living in Sandpoint, Idaho, they are happy to be back near family while continuing to enjoy the charm of small-town life.
Dr. Miller earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California. Known for his gentle approach and friendly demeanor, Dr. Z focuses on making every patient feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.
Jennifer Ra, DDS, is one of three dentists who provide outstanding patient care at Northwest Dental, which has offices conveniently located in Bellingham, Burlington, Arlington, Everett, and Oak Harbor, Washington. Dr. Ra began her medical education at the University of Washington, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in cell and molecular biology in 2003. She also worked as a research scientist at the University of Washington Medical Center in the Department of Neurology from 2002 to 2005.
Dr. Ra continued her education at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She graduated magna cum laude in 2009. In addition to her degree in dental medicine, Dr. Ra also holds certifications in the Hiossen dental implant system and Invisalign® clear aligners system.
Along with the team of dentists and denturists at Northwest Dental, Dr. Ra provides comprehensive dental services for patients of all ages living in the northwest Washington area.
Dr. Reathm is originally from Vancouver, BC where he earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of British Columbia. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto. He is proud to practice dentistry in Bellingham, where the West Coast’s natural beauty feels like home.
Dr. Reathm’s passion for both people and science led him to pursue a career where he could make a real difference. He takes the time to educate and involve each patient in their care, working together to achieve and maintain long-term oral health. Whether it’s a routine visit or a more complex procedure, his goal is always to provide care that is thorough, compassionate, and personalized.
When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Reathm enjoys spending time outdoors whether that be hiking, snowboarding, or biking. He’s also an avid traveler who loves exploring new places and cultures. He’s excited to be part of the Bellingham community and looks forward to welcoming you to the practice.
Eric Hansen, LD, was destined to become a professional denturist like his father. He now owns Northwest Dental, with offices in Bellingham, Burlington, Arlington, Everett, and Oak Harbor, Washington. As a young boy, Hansen played with wax in his father’s dental lab and realized his interest in dentures. When he graduated from high school, he worked alongside his father, Ron, in the lab. They both attended Idaho State University and the Oregon Denturist College.
Together, Eric and Ron Hansen earned their degrees in 1988 and became licensed denturists in 1999. The father-son team opened a denture clinic in Deming, Washington, on the Nooksack Indian Reservation. At the time, denturism was not yet recognized as a profession by the state of Washington, so they made that their mission.
Eric Hansen and his father worked with other denturists around the state to successfully pass Initiative 607, which formally recognized and regulated the denturist profession. Eric was a board member for the state of Washington denturists and helped them implement the new denturist law. The father-son team went on to open Northwest Dental, complete with denture laboratories and full-time dentists on their staff in both Bellingham and Burlington, Washington.
After his father’s passing in 2010, Hansen became the sole owner and a denturist at all five Northwest Dental locations. Hansen and his staff of three skilled dentists, five denturists, and hygienists provide exceptional dental and denture services, including implants and family dentistry, to patients of all ages in northwest Washington.
Farzad Khalili, LD, is one of the five skilled licensed denturists at Northwest Dental, which has offices in Bellingham, Burlington, Arlington, Everett, and Oak Harbor, Washington. He graduated from Bates Technical College in Tacoma, Washington, in 2009 and received his denturist license in 2010.
Khalili has been part of the Northwest Dental team since 2013 and was elected to the board of the Washington Denturist Association in 2017. He offers patients of all ages in northwest Washington his expertise in creating and maintaining their custom dentures — work he completes in Northwest Dental’s on-site lab.
Dr. Eric Xu, DDS, has a passion for transforming smiles and improving oral health. With his comprehensive training in general and family dentistry, with a special focus on restorative dentistry, implant, and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Xu brings a wealth of evidence-based expertise and a commitment to excellence to his practice.
Dr. Xu’s academic journey began at the University of Washington, where he graduated cum laude in 2018 with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and a minor in Bioethics. His exceptional academic performance and rigorous scientific education showcased his commitment to a solid foundation in the field. Driven by his thirst for knowledge and pursuit of dental excellence, he excelled at the esteemed University of Washington School of Dentistry, graduating at the top of his class and earning his DDS with distinction in 2023.
Eric actively engages with renowned dental organizations. As a proud member of esteemed associations such as the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and King County Dental Society, he remains connected to the latest developments in his community.
