Dr. Alvina Lim is a fourth generation dentist. Born in California and raised in Indonesia, she was exposed to a variety of cultures at an early age. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee and her dental degree from Loma Linda University in California.

After graduating from a general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, she worked in New York for two years as a general practitioner. This is where her passion for pediatric dental care developed. She pursued additional specialized training in pediatric dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital where she served as Chief Resident. She continues to be held in high regard by distinguished professors and peers for her superb work ethic and her attention to detail.

When not at work, Dr. Lim enjoys spending time with husband and their baby girl. She has been actively involved in both local and international dental outreach programs including Thailand, Guyana and Guatemala.

Accomplished general dentist, Tom Yan, DDS, happily serves men, women, and children at FiDi Dental in the Financial District of New York City where he provides an array of dental services, including veneers, teeth straightening, teeth whitening, fillings, and cleanings.

Dr. Yan is originally from Beijing, China, where he completed his general dental education with an emphasis on patient care and research. He then moved to New York and attended New York University, where he received two Master of Science degrees in computer science and oral biology. Dr. Yan went on to earn his dental medicine degree from New York University in 2007. He has also studied at the prestigious Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Yan has over three years of experience as an orthodontist and is known for his bedside manner and efficient care. He treats every individual like family and creates personalized treatment plans.
