Urvashi Keswani, DDS, is an Associate Periodontist at Perio & Implant Center of Monterey Bay and Silicon Valley, with locations in Sunnyvale and Monterey, California.
Born and raised in a country that is a dazzling mosaic of vibrant colors, rich traditions, and unforgettable flavors—India!
Dr. Keswani moved to the United States to pursue her DDS at UCLA School of Dentistry, after which she relocated to New Jersey for specialty training in Periodontics at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.
The field of periodontics fascinated her due to its focus on preventative care and its crucial role in maintaining overall systematic health. The opportunity to address often-overlooked aspects of dental health and make a real difference in patients' lives is what drove her to pursue this specialty.
When Dr. Keswani is not perfecting smiles, you'll find her taste-testing unique snacks, redecorating her space like a DIY guru, or getting lost in a murder mystery novel.

Growing up, Dr. Shorey loved art and science, and dentistry was a perfect match for those interests. He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, after graduation, Dr. Shorey practiced in the Sacramento/Placer County area for 25 years before moving to Morgan Hill to take over the practice of Dr. Robert Moulthrop, his long-time friend and dental school roommate.
Having a strong interest in digital technology has put Dr. Shorey in a category foremost in his profession. He has authored multiple technology articles as well as lectured on the state and national levels. Over his career, he not only has incorporated new technologies into his progressive practice of dentistry, but he also believes strongly in preventive care and the whole health and education of his patients.
Dr. Shorey is an active leader in dentistry. He has received multiple awards, including the prestigious President’s Award in 1998 for contributions to his local dental society, and he is an award-winning editor of both the Sacramento and Santa Clara County Dental Society. Dr. Shorey served in multiple leadership positions in Sacramento and Santa Clara County, including president, editor-in-chief, chief communications officer, a delegate to the California Dental Association (CDA), COVID-19 Task Force member, chairman of the Midwinter Dental Conference for Continuing Dental Training and Education, a dental journal editor and guest editor for the CDA, as well as a lecturer on new, clinical dental technologies.
In his leisure time, Dr. Shorey loves hiking and is an avid road cyclist and photography enthusiast. He has hiked Mount Whitney, Half Dome, a portion of the John Muir Trail, and completed several 100-mile and metric century rides in the Northern California area. In the winter, he enjoys skiing the slopes of the Sierras.

Dr. Kyrpa Kochar earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from A.T. Still University, where she built a strong foundation in comprehensive, evidence-based dentistry. Her approach combines clinical excellence with compassion, with a focus on prevention and empowering patients to take charge of their oral health.

Harpreet Tiwana, DDS, is a general dentist at Laguna Oaks Dental in Elk Grove, California. He has been working in the greater Sacramento region for over five years.
He graduated from New York University in 2002 and completed his general practice residency in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Tiwana then completed a mini-residency in pediatric dentistry from the University of Minnesota as well as one in endodontics (root canal treatment) offered by prominent endodontist Dr. John West at IDEA Academy in California. He has also been extensively trained by Dr. Michael Duggan, DDS, PhD, of The Duggan Institute of Dentistry in Costa Mesa, California.
Dr. Tiwana has taken several continuing education courses including courses offered by Dr. Gordon Christensen in Provo, Utah, and continually updates his knowledge through continuing education courses at the University of Pacific, San Francisco, and various other courses.
He is committed to providing excellent care to his patients and also caters to fearful patients by providing nitrous oxide sedation. Dr. Tiwana enjoys treating both children and adults, and enjoys listening to his patients and helping them attain optimal dental health.
