Scott Resnick, DDS, is an endodontist at NYCEndodontics in the Lenox Hill area of Manhattan. He is proud to provide high-quality care to patients in New York City.
Dr. Resnick was born and raised in New York. He graduated from Queens College and then went to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While attending Tufts, he also went to Harvard Extension School, where he received a graduate certificate in business. He then attended New York University, where he received a postgraduate degree in endodontics. He started practicing dentistry in 1988.
Shortly after graduating, Dr. Resnick began teaching at Mount Sinai Hospital. In 1991, he became Chief of Endodontics at the hospital, a position he held for 23 years. Dr. Thomas Zicarelli joined him in 1991. They are now joined by Dr. Jennifer Donelson, Dr. Randolph Todd, and Dr. Christina Boyd. They recently moved to their new location. They pride themselves on using the most sophisticated techniques, equipment, and materials and they constantly strive towards excellence.
Dr. Resnick has a wife and three daughters. He enjoys cycling, running, swimming, yoga, and, of course, spending time with his family.
Thomas J. Zicarelli, DDS, is an endodontist at NYCEndodontics in the Lenox Hill area of Manhattan. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to his patients in New York City.
Dr. Zicarelli is a graduate of Villanova University in Pennsylvania and the New York University College of Dentistry, where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery and specialty certificate in endodontics. Dr. Zicarelli served as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Postgraduate Endodontics from 1989-1999. It was during his specialty training when he met Dr. Scott Resnick, and together, they founded NYCEndodontics in 1991. Over the years, they have expanded the practice to include several associates.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontics, the New York Dental Forum, and the First District Dental Society of New York, to mention a few.
Dr. Zicarelli is married and has two children. He enjoys hiking, skiing, mountain and road cycling, ice climbing, gardening, and model railroading.
Christina Boyd, DDS, is a board-certified endodontist at NYCEndodontics in the Lenox Hill area of Manhattan. She is committed to providing the highest quality care to New York City patients in a safe and comfortable environment.
She earned her Doctor in Dental Surgery from New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry, where she received multiple academic and clinical awards in endodontics, leadership, and advancement of dentistry, occlusion, and oral comprehensive care. During her dental school training, Dr. Boyd published an article in the Journal of Cancer Education on research to identify barriers to oral cancer screenings by dentists.
Dr. Boyd then completed a two-year post-graduate residency in endodontics at NYU College of Dentistry. She has also participated in numerous clinical outreaches in the United States and globally to increase access to dental care for those in underserved communities. Her deep commitment and dedication to the profession were acknowledged when she was welcomed as a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
She attends local study clubs and national scientific meetings to remain active in her field and stay current on the latest research, techniques, and technology. Dr. Boyd is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the New York State Dental Association.
