After completing his undergraduate degree at Tulane University, Dr. Misra received a Doctorate of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. After obtaining his Internal Medicine Board Certification, Dr. Misra practiced as an internist for six years. The highlight of his post-graduate career was serving the diverse community of Astoria, Queens, as an ICU hospitalist and completing a one-year Hepatitis Fellowship at the Institute of Liver Medicine in the Mount Sinai Health System. The fellowship focused on hepatitis and general hepatology.
