Kelli Lugo is a Physician Assistant with a lifetime interest in health, fitness and nutrition. She loves working with individuals to help them achieve their health goals and decrease the risk for disease associated with obesity and malnutrition. Kelli has been a Physician Assistant for over 20 years. She started her career in general surgery, which included assisting in bariatric weight loss surgery, and she was trained in managing patients on total parenteral nutrition (TPN). She has extensive experience in surgical specialties of hand, foot and ankle surgery, spine surgery, sports medicine and total joint replacement. Through her work as a Physician Assistant, she incorporates her passion for health maintenance into improving her patients' post-operative outcomes. 

When she isn't working, Kelli can be found spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys running, traveling and diving into a good book. 

 

Megan James, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 15 years of clinical experience. She sees patients via telehealth at KairWell Weight and Wellness, which is based in Davie, Florida. 

Megan earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology, where she developed a strong foundation in fitness, nutrition, and preventive health. Megan then began her physician assistant career in 2010, specializing in orthopedic surgery with a focus on total joint replacement and orthopedic trauma. During this time, she frequently worked with patients who needed to achieve weight loss goals in order to medically qualify for joint surgery. That experience deepened her interest in weight management and preventive care, particularly for patients struggling with obesity.

Now transitioning into the field of weight and wellness medicine, Megan is committed to helping individuals overcome the disease of obesity and achieve sustainable, healthy lifestyles. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based care and a deep desire to empower patients to take charge of their health. Outside of her clinical work, Megan loves traveling, reading, and spending as much time outdoors as possible with her family in the beautiful Treasure Coast area.

Leon Poveda, MD, is a board-certified family physician at Grace Family Medicine Direct Primary Care of Wellington in Wellington, Florida. He graduated from the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua at León. He completed his residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. 

As a family physician, Dr. Poveda focuses on care for the whole body, whether acute and in need of urgent care or chronic. Mohan L. Gupta, MD, is a board-certified internist who serves the sunny communities of Sunrise and Davie, Florida, at Americare Medical Center. Narayn Pillai, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a board-certified Cardiologist at Advanced Cardiovascular Consultants in Atlantis and West Palm Beach, Florida. He has a special interest in coronary and peripheral vascular disease. 

Dr. Pillai received his MD from The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) medical school in India.

Dr. Yael Myers is a Board Certified physician who specializes in Internal Medicine. She started her medical career as an undergraduate at prestigious Princeton University where she was a pre-medical student and graduated with honors in Psychology. She then attended medical school in Manhattan at Mt.
