The Center for Multisystem Disease in Denver specializes in disorders that affect multiple body systems. Board-certified in both diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology, Ian Kaminsky, MD, MS, is one of the leading neurointerventional surgeons practicing at RIA Neurovascular, in Englewood, Colorado. He offers state-of-the-art procedures to address a wide range of health conditions ranging from ischemic stroke to cerebral aneurysms.

Dr. Kaminsky earned his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science with honors at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, in St. Maarten, Netherland Antilles. He served his internship and his radiology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

I’m from Big Spring, Texas. I played volleyball at ASU before going to medical school at Kansas City University Medical School in Joplin, MO. 

I had never heard of Internal Medicine before my third-year rotations, but then fell in love, switched specialties that month, and I now plan to be a hospitalist. 

I had only been to Denver a couple of times before coming here recently, and now I absolutely love it and hope to stay here. I moved here with my boyfriend Casey and our two dogs, Arlo and Pippy. We are looking forward to skiing, hiking, playing video games at home and enjoying all the types of the local sports that Denver offers. We are especially excited about football, as everyone in my family is a huge Broncos fan. I’m hoping that my two sisters and parents will visit frequently!  

Dr. Jordan Walker is a board certified specialist in Internal Medicine. He started his career in biomedical engineering at the University of Utah hospital working on the advanced heart failure team. This team lead him to coauthoring the prestigious United States Bridge to Transplant Trial for the Jarvik 2000 heart pump. His work as an engineer guided him to pursue a career in medicine where he completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency in Colorado. 

Outside of his medical work, Dr. Walker enjoys all sports and spending time with his wife and three sons. When not attending one of sons' games, he can be found working on his pickeball serve or at a driving range attempting to add yards to his golf game. 

I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. From a young age, I was fascinated by innovation and the human experience. Early in life, I assumed a caregiving role for multiple family members, inspiring my pursuit of medicine. During my undergraduate years at the University of Idaho in Moscow, I co-created a viral TED talk titled “A Crash Course in Organic Chemistry” with my mentor, Dr. Jakob Magolan, and worked in a multidisciplinary video game studio with my computer science and genetics professors. 

After graduating with degrees in microbiology, molecular biology, and biotechnology, I went on to the University of Colorado School of Medicine where I served as executive producer on an upcoming documentary, “Diversity and Inclusion in Medicine: The Journey.” 
I’m passionate about nearly every discipline within and outside of medicine, and am eager to begin this residency as an internist at Sky Ridge Hospital. 

In addition to mastering the skills to become an excellent physician, I am committed to finding creative ways to bring comfort and joy to his patients during their most challenging times.

For my undergraduate education, I attended Santa Clara University and majored in Bioengineering. I went on to attend Touro University Nevada for medical school.
I chose Internal Medicine because I enjoy the critical thinking and problem-solving required. Working through complex cases feels a bit like being a detective, piecing together clues to arrive at the right diagnosis. I also appreciate the breadth of the field, and how it allows me to care for a wide variety of patients and conditions.
In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, going to concerts, trying new restaurants and breweries, and staying active, whether that’s going to the gym, hiking, or playing pickleball.

I was born and raised in Southern California, and I have already had the opportunity to call several states and countries home. I did my undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Idaho where I earned a degree in Biology. Then, I started medical school at Trinity School of Medicine on the lovely island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and finished in the state of Georgia. 

My desire to enter medicine started when I was an Emergency Medical Technician in Idaho. Through my medical school training, I found my passion to be in internal medicine. Outside of my work in medicine, I enjoy playing soccer, outdoor activities with my wife and kids, and fixing things.

Bryce was born and raised in Denham Springs, Louisiana, where he attended college at Louisiana Tech University to play baseball and majored in Biology. He then went to medical school at Louisiana State University’s School of Medicine in Shreveport. In his spare time, he loves being outside in nature, so naturally, Colorado is the place to be! He has really gotten into skiing since living here, and also loves hiking and fishing. He is not quite sure what area of medicine he'd like to specialize in, but he does know that it is very important to him to be in a position that provides excellent care to patients. That's what life is all about - folks taking care of folks!

Floyd Russak, MD, is a double board-certified internist (1984) and holistic medicine (1999) specialist. He specializes in internal medicine, pediatrics, and geriatric care at Russak Personalized Medicine in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Dr. Russak grew up in Denver and graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 1973.  He earned his bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University in Chicago, studying music and biology.  He then went on to receive his doctorate of medicine at George Washington University in Washington, where he served on the team that treated President Ronald Reagan in 1981. 

Dr. Russak completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at Harvard Medical School in Boston, where he served on the faculty for 12 years. He was the founder of Somerville Family Health, a 10-physician, four-office multispecialty in Boston, which he sold to Harvard in 1996.  He had numerous television appearances on CBS while in Boston. 

Dr. Russak owned East-West Health Centers from 1999 to 2017 and successfully sold that practice to On Point Medical Group. He has been practicing only personalized concierge medicine since that time

Dr. Russak served on the Copper Mountain Ski Patrol and was a singer with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. He now skis Keystone and Aspen.  He is married with two children, serves on the Board of Delegates of the Colorado Medical Society, is a clinical faculty member at the University of Colorado (CU) Medical School, and is currently the president of the Arapahoe, Douglas and Elbert County Medical Society.

I have lived in Colorado my whole life - first Highlands Ranch and then Castle Rock. I received my undergraduate degree in Biology from CSU in Fort Collins before returning to south Denver to complete medical school here at RVU. I am passionate about making
patients feel heard and working together to help them meet their goals.

Outside of my career I spend my time with my wife Mikayla and our family and friends. You can find me rock climbing, mountain biking, or cross-country skiing. I also enjoy playing strategy board or video games, gardening, and woodworking in the garage.

Allen Swanson, MD, works as a vascular and interventional radiologist at RIA Endovascular. Dr. Swanson sees patients at the office in Windsor, Colorado.

As a college student, Dr. Swanson became interested in the link between mind and body after taking courses in genetics and psychology. He completed premed courses and a degree in psychology at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He attended the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he studied radiology and graduated with his medical degree. 

Dr. Swanson completed an internship in internal medicine at Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and a diagnostic radiology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minneapolis. He then did a fellowship in interventional radiology at Johns Hopkins Medicine of Baltimore, Maryland.

Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Swanson has co-authored and published articles on current radiology techniques, global practice, and humanitarian teleradiology.

At RIA Endovascular, Dr. Swanson utilizes his background in imaging to perform minimally invasive procedures. His techniques avoid many risks of surgery and are an option for patients who can’t have surgery. He collaborates with other physicians, nurses, and technicians to maintain a high standard of patient care.
