Dr. Eric Ibegbu is an Endobariatric gastroenterologist with offices in Kinston and Jacksonville, North Carolina. Dr. Ibegbu’s patients come from the entire state of North Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C., New York, Atlanta, Tennessee, Ohio and even from around the world, to enjoy the truly world-class experience at Atlantic Medical Group. Dr. Ibegbu earned his medical degree from the university of Nigeria and completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Florida Health Sciences center in Jacksonville, Florida. He also received advanced training in therapeutic endoscopy, including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP).
Throughout his career, Dr. Ibegbu has published extensively in the field of gastroenterology. His work is featured in several peer-reviewed journals, including World Journal of Gastroenterology and The American Journal of Gastroenterology. He has also been involved in the training of many other physicians across the country, and he serves as the speaker for several medical device and pharmaceutical companies.
He is an author, prolific writer and transformational speaker at national and international conferences on topics ranging from health and nutrition, the balance of life, developing medical businesses and entrepreneurs and wealth building to helping each person discover the answers to life’s most daunting questions: “who am I” and “why am I here”.
