Included were fellowships at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in cardiology, where he was named a chief fellow, and at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City in coronary, endovascular, and carotid intervention.
Today, Dr. Kaki holds board certifications in seven specialties, including interventional cardiology, cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine, nuclear cardiology, echocardiology, and vascular medicine.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Kaki ensures that all patients at Heart & Vascular institute receive the support and guidance they need.
Dr. Kaki has unmatched expertise in a wide range of procedures, including complex coronary intervention and carotid artery stenting. A renowned researcher, Dr. Kaki's clinical research has been published in peer-reviewed journals. He's also a frequent speaker at national meetings.
Dr. Kaki served as a full-time faculty member at the University of Tennessee Department of Medicine. He was also an assistant professor of medicine in the Weill Cornell Medicine Greenberg Center in New York City. Today, Dr. Kaki takes pride in training the next generation of cardiologists as an assistant clinical professor of medicine at Wayne State School of Medicine.
