His research interests include ischemic preconditioning and the role of mechanical circulatory support in shock and myocardial infarction. Dr. Rashed has been a reviewer for several medical journals. Stacy Zwick Ker, DO, is a board-certified physician in nephrology and hypertension, and internal medicine. She sees patients at Hypertension Nephrology Associates, PC, in Livonia, Michigan.
Dr. Ker was born in Orrville, Ohio, and is a graduate of Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine (OUCOM). Dr. Ker is a member of the National Osteopathic Honor Society, which is an honor given to those showing a high degree of scholarship and service to their college and/or profession. Dr. Ker completed both her internship and residency in internal medicine at Botsford Hospital, located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
