Dr. Healy earned his medical degree with honors from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Healy then completed interventional cardiology fellowship at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, followed by advanced training in structural heart, peripheral vascular, and complex coronary interventions. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, vascular interpretation, and cardiac CT.

Prior to being recruited to COR Healthcare, Dr. Healy worked as an interventional cardiologist at Scripps Clinic where he was part of the teaching faculty of the fellowship training program.
