Leon Tio, DO, MA, FACOI, is a board-certified and fellow in Internal Medicine and Hospitalist at Clover Internal Medicine Associate in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Tio's approach to care focuses on underlying causes of an illness, rather than symptoms.
After completing his bachelor’s degree with honors in Biology at the University of Texas at Arlington, Dr. Tio went on to earn his Masters Degree in Bioethics and Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine with University of North Texas at Medical City of Fort Worth. Dr Uchenna Aduba is a board-certified internal medicine physician born in the Country of Nigeria but has been living in the USA for over 25 years. Dr Aduba attended high school in Mississippi, where he was voted student council president prior to attending college in Texas. Dr Aduba attended the University of Texas at Austin and is still a passionate Longhorn to this day. He did his training at Texas A & M College of Medicine on an academic merit scholarship for all 4 years. He then did his internship and residency training at the University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center for 3 years. During his time at Houston, Dr. Aduba trained at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center, Memorial Hermann, and the county hospital Lyndon B Johnson. During his training at the county hospital, Dr. Aduba became well-versed in serving the underprivileged and low income patient while providing outstanding care. After graduating from Dr Aduba did nephrology training at Stanford University. While at Stanford, Dr Aduba did preliminary research work on maintaining patency and access of AV fistula and AV graft. Dr Aduba then relocated back to Texas to serve as a primary care physician.
In his free time, Dr. Aduba enjoys running. He has run in 5-6 half marathons and several 10ks. He has even placed first overall for his age group in a 10k race. Additionally, he has lived in the Ivory Coast, Tunisia bring an empathetic approach and care to all of his patient regardless of their background, customs, or heritage. Dr Aduba is always considerate of the patient’s perspective and always practices evidence-based medicine. Dr. Kofo Ekadi is an internist serving the Burleson, Texas area at her practice, Delta Medical Clinic. After graduating from medical school at the University of Lagos College of Medicine in her native Nigeria, Dr. Ekadi completed an internship at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, and her residency in internal medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland. After graduating in 1997, she practiced in Georgia before moving to Texas in 2000; she has since practiced in the Fort Worth, Burleson, and Cleburne areas. Dr. Ekadi's practice is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish, to better serve the diverse population of the area. She is board-certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians, as well as several other medical societies. Dr. Ekadi's areas of special interest include diabetes mellitus ("sugar diabetes"), bariatric medicine (weight loss medicine), hypertension and erectile dysfunction. She feels strongly that with patient education and empowerment, people can take better care of themselves and improve their health.
Dr. Khalida Yasmin leads the medical staff at Premier Wellness Clinics. She brings her years of medical experience to the Little Elm – Frisco communities to provide quality medical services. As an experienced board-certified physician in family medicine, she has the experience and expertise to properly manage and treat both acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages.
