I have worked in the field of allergy and immunology for about 18 years. My primary interests are environmental allergy, asthma, eczema, food allergy, drug allergy, urticaria, and diseases of immune misregulation.
I'm board-certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. I completed an internal medicine residency and a fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. I'm actively involved in clinical research trials and have been served as principal investigator in numerous clinical trials and have published articles and presented abstracts.
Shawn Hamilton, MD, has more than 20 years of experience as a board-certified physician in internal medicine. She practices at Spruce Medical Group in Irvine, California, and is affiliated with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, located in Newport and in Irvine, California. Dr. Hamilton speaks many languages, including Chinese (Mandarin), Taiwanese, and some medical Spanish.
