About Pamela Vincent, MD
I began practicing medicine as a neurologist in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1990 and moved to Utah two years later, drawn in part by the chance to ski out my door. In 2003, I founded an integrative practice that brought neurology together with psychology, acupuncture, bodywork, yoga, and other disciplines, broadening my understanding of pain and healing. Around 2005, two courageous patients asked me for help with opioid dependence, inspiring me to train in addiction medicine—a field that became my passion. My background in neurology, addiction medicine, and integrative care helps me listen closely and consider the whole person, especially when pain or other symptoms resist a simple explanation. I find restoration in wild places, and I encourage patients to discover their own sources of joy and purpose as we work together, without judgment, toward the life they envision.
