I am especially interested in the diagnosis and management of non healing complex wounds as well as in disorders of the lymphatic system. I earned my MD at the La Salle University in Mexico City and completed my residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Hyperbaric Medicine at the University of Texas-Houston. I have been active in academic medicine at both UT Houston and Baylor College of Medicine and have participated in several research projects including imaging of the lymphatic systems with near- infrared technology. I belief in individualized, patient-centered medicine, based on diagnostics and customized therapeutics considering each patients' particular circumstances.
