After returning to Florida, Dr. Issa did his internship and residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. He also completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease with the Columbia University Division of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
Dr. Issa holds board certification in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, adult comprehensive echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular interpretation.
