Ahmed Rashed, MD, is an interventional cardiologist at Premier Cardiovascular Consultants. Currently, he will be providing patient care at our Troy, Michigan. A graduate of Ain Shams University College of Medicine, Dr. Rashed completed a residency in Cardiovascular Medicine at Dar Al Fouad Hospital and earned a Master of Science degree from Ain Shams University.
He then completed an internal medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center / Wayne State University followed by specialty and subspecialty fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University. Dr. Rashed is the author and co-author of a number of research articles in leading medical journals.
His research interests include ischemic preconditioning and the role of mechanical circulatory support in shock and myocardial infarction. Dr. Rashed has been a reviewer for several medical journals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Rashed enjoys spending time with his three children, biking, soccer and traveling.

Dr. Zmily earned his medical degree at the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. He later moved to Detroit, Michigan to complete his internship at the Detroit Medical Center of Wayne State University. Looking to further his knowledge and skills to help others, he completed a cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology training at Detroit Medical Center.
