Dr. Seema Chaudhary is a preventive medicine expert and obesity physician at Nova Physician Wellness Center. As a health advocate for the people of Fairfax, Sterling, Woodbridge and Ashburn, Virginia, she has been in clinical practice for about 15 years.
She finished her residency from the University of Florida, Gainesville, and she joined Community Health Center Clearwater so that she could help the poor and underserved population. She moved from Florida to Northern Virginia and worked with Kaiser Permanente for about seven years.
During her tenure at Kaiser, she became more passionate about preventive medicine, especially treating obesity, which is the root cause of most chronic medical illnesses, like diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, heartburn, and arthritis.
Seeing the growing need for weight management expertise, she switched her area of specialty to bariatric medicine. She is now a board-certified obesity medicine specialist and helps patients achieve their healthiest weight, wellness, and a reversal of cardiovascular risk factors.
As a primary care physician, Dr. Chaudhary understands the complexity of chronic medical illness associated with abnormal weight gain. She is comfortable and confident with the treatment of obesity, while also monitoring all associated diseases.

Dr. Mir obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan. After obtaining her doctorate in medicine, she pursued residency training in family medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Shalin Patel is a highly skilled, board-certified interventional cardiologist renowned for his expertise in complex cardiovascular procedures and dedication to patient-centered care. Dr. Patel began his higher education at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He continued his medical journey at VCU, receiving his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) School of Medicine.
Following medical school, Dr. Patel completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Ezeibe graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Howard University in Washington, DC, and earned a master's degree in biomedical sciences from Tufts University in Medford, Connecticut. She completed her medical degree at Howard University and her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, where she served as chief resident and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
