Risha Kopel, MD is a board certified provider in Internal Medicine. She graduated from Brown Medical School and did her residency at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. She has done research in cardiology and obesity treatment.
Dr. Kopel has won scholarly awards for Internal Medicine from the American College of Physicians and has been voted one of the best doctors in Dallas in D Magazine. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis. I graduated from Creighton Medical School in Omaha, Nebraska and completed my residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Louisiana State University - at Charity Hospital, in New Orleans.
For five years, I was Chief of Urgent Care at Kaiser Permenente for the Dallas Region. Since 1997, I have been an attending Physician at Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC) in Garland, TX - A Division of Parkland Health and Hospital System. Currently, I am an attending physician at Children’s Hospital. In addition, I have hospital privileges at Richardson’s Regional Medical Center. When I am not in my office, I am with my two children who give me deep joy and happiness. We currently live in Richardson Texas.
Board-certified allergist-immunologist Thomas Fowler, MD, invests in cutting-edge technology continuing education to offer individualized, evidence-based care. Dr. Fowler completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he met his wife.
