Dr. Tsakadze is one of only a handful of certified headache specialists in the country. She completed Neurology Residency and Fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain at the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL. She also completed Thrombosis Vascular Training Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN and Postdoctoral Fellowship from the American Heart Association at the University of Louisville, KY. Dr. Vikas Shetty obtained his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C.. He subsequently completed a medical internship at Northwell Health- North Shore- Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Shetty then completed his neurology residency at the same institution, where he gained extensive experience in managing a wide range of neurological conditions.
He was later awarded a fellowship in epilepsy at Northwell Health, focusing on advanced epilepsy care, including interpreting complex EEGs and managing refractory epilepsy cases. Dr. Shetty is board-certified in neurology and epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His professional interests include epilepsy management and clinical neurophysiology.
