Dr. Su, a native of Northern Californian, is trained in head and neck surgery and oral maxillofacial surgery. After receiving his dental degree from New York University, he moved back to the west coast and received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, including a year of general surgery internship at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. Following residency, Dr. Su further his training by completing a fellowship in head and neck surgery and microvascular reconstructive surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. Dr. Kian Farzaneh DDS is an accomplished oral surgeon, wisdom teeth specialist, and dental implant specialist in Danville, California.

Originally from California, he earned his dental degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry before completing advanced specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through the Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Medical Center program. During his training, he served as Chief Resident across Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Stony Brook University, and the VA Northport Medical Center.

Tyler Nelson, DDS, is thrilled to practice oral surgery at Ramona Dental Specialists in Ramona, California! Although his life’s journeys have taken him far from home, he is grateful to be back.

Dr. Nelson received his bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Brigham Young University. During his undergraduate education, he took a “career exploration” class, which required him to observe numerous professions. When he observed an oral surgeon in action, he found his passion and made up his mind rather quickly, that this was the career path for him. He loves what he does every day.

During dental school at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, Dr. Nelson served as class president each year, and as Student Body President during his senior year. He graduated with high honors and was accepted into the 4-year oral and maxillofacial surgery program at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California.

During his residency, Dr. Nelson was trained in IV sedation, dental implants, the removal of problematic teeth, facial trauma, and orthognathic (jaw repositioning) surgery. He also presented research on jaw tumors and imaging modalities for the diagnosis of mandibular fractures.

Dr. Tyler Nelson is happily married to his college sweetheart, Natalie. Together, they are proud parents of six children. Beyond spending time with his family, Dr. Nelson enjoys running, biking, and snowboarding.
