Dr. Kassanoff earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Continuing his medical education, Dr. Kassanoff embarked on a general surgery internship at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr. Kassanoff’s dedication to the field led him to pursue a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. This rigorous program provided him with a solid foundation and advanced skills in radiology.

Nishant Patel, MD, MBA, is an experienced interventional radiologist working at the RIA Endovascular office in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
The son of two physicians, Dr. Patel originally studied biochemistry before graduating from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. He completed a fellowship and residency in interventional radiology at Michigan Medicine and a residency at Riverside Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.
Dr. Patel has co-authored publications on topics including interventional radiology-operated endoscopy, interventional radiology-operated cholecystoscopy, gastroduodenal and pancreatic surgical techniques and imaging, post-operative colon and urinary diversion surgical techniques and imaging, imaging of presacral masses, and endovascular thrombolysis for extremity frostbite.
Among his honors and awards, Dr. Patel is the recipient of the American College of Radiology’s Radiology Leadership Summit Scholarship, the Michigan Society of Interventional Radiology Resident Research Award (First Place), and the ACR Gold Merit Award.
Today, Dr. Patel provides care for new and existing patients dealing with medical issues such as peripheral artery disease. He emphasizes the need for medical knowledge, imaging skills, and mental openness when interpreting imaging results. In his practice as an interventional radiologist, he works with clinicians in every specialization and provides direct patient care.
When not at work, Dr. Patel relaxes by playing volleyball and listening to electronic music at home or in concert.

Dr. Matt Brown is kind and team-oriented. His favorite part about working with the team at RIA is his colleagues and patients. Not only is the team technically great, but he says they’re also genuine and caring people.
He also loves to see how happy the patients are with recovery time and their results after procedures. Treating conditions through a tiny incision and having the patients say, “That’s it?” afterward never gets old.
Dr. Matt Brown enjoys spending as much time as possible outside in his free time with his wife, Amber, their son, and their lazy, 120-pound mutt, Morris. He also has a 1984 Toyota 4X4 truck that he is slowly fixing up.
