Alexa earned her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University. Alexa has over 5 years of experience as a dermatology medical assistant, gaining a strong foundation in skin pathology, dermatologic procedures, and patient-centered care. After passing her AANP board certification in 2025, she joined Zand Dermatology.

Alexa completed a comprehensive dermatology residency under the mentorship of Dr. Sarv Zand and Dr. Paula Zand, with focused training in skin cancer detection, acne and rosacea management, eczema and psoriasis care, and the use of lasers and energy-based devices. Rudolf "Rudy" Buntic, MD, is a skilled plastic, hand, and microsurgeon at SOAR Spine and Orthopedics in Redwood City, California. His clinical interests include reconstructive microsurgery, focusing on the reconstruction of traumatic injuries and defects caused by cancer. 

A native of Canada, Dr. Buntic completed his post-graduate residency in general and plastic surgery at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. He also completed a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at Davies Medical Center in San Francisco with esteemed doctors Harry and Gregory Buncke. 

Dr. Buntic is board-certified in Plastic Surgery and hand surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an Associate Professor in Plastic Surgery at Stanford University Medical School and a member of the University of California, San Francisco's Clinical Faculty. He is a member of several societies, including the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery. Dr. Buntic has presented and published several scientific articles and book chapters related to various plastic, hand, and microsurgery topics. 

Dr. Melissa Loja, MD, MAS, FACS, FSVS, RPVI, completed medical school at the University of California at Davis. She went on to be among the first in the nation to complete a specialized integrated vascular surgery residency program at the University of California at Davis. Dr. Loja was selected for the highly competitive NIH funded T32 research grant, which led to widely cited publications. She attained a Master's degree in Clinical and Translational research from these efforts. In addition, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Biologic Sciences, also obtained at the University of California at Davis. Dr. Loja specializes in vascular and endovascular surgery, including carotid artery disease, aneurysm repair, dialysis access, treatment of mesenteric and renal artery disease and lower extremity revascularization. Among her clinical interests, limb salvage and peripheral arterial disease with a multidisciplinary focus is a particular passion of hers. She is expertly trained and highly skilled in endovascular as well as surgical management of peripheral arterial disease.
