Joshua Ang, DO, is a board-certified allergy and immunology specialist dedicated to helping patients at Allergy and Asthma Specialist Doctors, Inc., in Pasadena and West Covina, California. Dr. Monica Sandhu is triple board certified in allergy and immunology, obesity medicine, and internal medicine. At her practice, Magnolia Allergy and Asthma in Dallas, Waxahachie, and Corsicana, Texas, she treats children and adults for a variety of allergic and immunologic disorders. Dr. Sandhu grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and received her undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Dr. Charles Song brings extensive medical experience to his practice, Song Institute of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology in Manhattan Beach, California. After receiving his medical degree from Northwestern Medical School, Dr. Song completed his residency at the University of Southern California, County Medical Center. From there he went on to finish his fellowship in allergy and immunology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Song is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

Dr. Song describes his career as a happy marriage of private practice and academic pursuit. He has cared for thousands of satisfied patients across different specialties: general pediatrics, adult and pediatric allergy, and immunology. He has taught and trained many young physicians for more than two decades at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Song has enjoyed living in the South Bay area since 1974 with his wife, his two (now grown) children, and two energetic grandchildren. He stays involved in the community in various roles, currently as a board member of Manhattan Beach School Health Advisory Board.

Born and raised in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Wong was a three-sport athlete and musician in high-school.  He moved to Los Angeles in 2001 to study Computer Science and Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California.  After graduating from the Keck School of Medicine at USC, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at the LAC+USC Medical Center, and he was honored as Senior Resident of the Year during his final year.  After residency, Dr. Wong stayed at LAC+USC for his fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology.

On a personal note, Dr. Wong is married to his high-school sweetheart, Lindsay.  They spend their spare time with their two daughters and miniature dachshund.  When they are not taxiing the kids to soccer and ninja warrior practice, they enjoy hiking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.

Dr. Frick has been practicing allergy and immunology since 1988.  He completed his undergraduate work at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale, graduating with highest honors. Dr. Funkhouser serves as partner and consulting physician of Integrative Health Matters. Dr. Funkhouser attended Medical School and Graduate School at the University of New Mexico. He graduated with a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biomedical Sciences, concentrating in gene regulation and immunogenetics, in 1998. He graduated with his MD the following year. His research interests are in gene regulation and cytokine response in allergic and autoimmune disease. He trained in and later taught Internal Medicine at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) in El Paso, TX. Dr. Funkhouser completed a Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and the National Institutes of Health, in Washington DC. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI). He is board endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a native Texan who completed her undergraduate training at The University of Texas at Austin. She attended medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Long Island, New York. She chose a career path toward allergy by first completing a three-year internal medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. While a resident, she received several awards for her research on the effects of beta-blockers on patients with asthma and COPD. Having several family members who suffered from allergies, Dr. Gomez Dinger was drawn to further study the specialty of allergy and immunology.
