Dr. Imanirad was raised in Gainesville, Florida, where she completed her undergraduate degree and minored in Spanish. She later obtained her master’s degree in medical sciences and taught anatomy and physiology to college students while performing translational and clinical research for some time.
She received her medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, Florida. After finishing medical school, Dr. Imanirad completed her residency and fellowship training at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
