Dr. Frick has been practicing allergy and immunology since 1988.  He completed his undergraduate work at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale, graduating with highest honors. He attended medical school at Southern Illinois University where he received his doctorate degree.  Upon graduating from medical school he completed a pediatric residency at University of Missouri - Columbia in 1986 and subsequently a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1988.  He was certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology in 1989 and is an active member of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology.  The scope of his practice spans all areas of adult and pediatric allergic disorders including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergy, eosinophilic esophagitis, alpha gal, eczema, hives, drug allergy, stinging insect allergy, and use of biologics for a variety of conditions.  His special interests include asthma, cough, hay fever, immunotherapy (allergy shots), hives, and food allergy.  In addition to medicine, Dr. Frick enjoys family, traveling, pickleball, astronomy, and landscaping.

Dr. Hamid is a lifelong Jayhawk who grew up in Lawrence, KS. She earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a minor in psychology with highest distinction at the University of Kansas. She traveled east down I-70 to Kansas City, where she earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She then completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Allergy and Immunology, also at KU.

She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She has been published in leading allergy journals including Allergy and Asthma Proceedings, and has presented at national conferences. She has also participated in committees through the ACAAI.

She is excited to take care of patients of all ages in her hometown and enjoys all aspects of Allergy and Immunology for the opportunity to help patients improve upon their quality of life. She hopes to spread awareness about the management of allergic and atopic disease. Outside of medicine, she enjoys being outdoors in the sunshine, spending time with family and friends, exploring restaurants, bakeries, and local coffee shops in the area, being an amateur barista, and can be found cheering on the Jayhawks.
