Dr. Lyandres attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where he graduated with distinction in biological sciences. He earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and did his residency at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York.
After his residency, Dr. Lyandres continued his education and training with a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at North Shore University Hospital-Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens, New York.
Dr. Lyandres is proactive in educating his patients, and he strongly believes that well-informed patients who take part in their own health care decisions have better treatment outcomes.
