Dr. Begum received her medical degree from State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical College in New York. She subsequently completed 3 years of training in Internal Medicine followed by another 3 years of specialized training in Cardiovascular disease/cardiology. She then worked at SUNY Downstate as a faculty physician and Assistant Professor of Cardiology until she moved to Dallas. After that she worked at Texas Health Resource and Plano Presbyterian Hospital for several years as an attending Cardiologist. Since then, she has been providing outstanding cardiac care at Heart Care located in Frisco, Texas. 

Dr. Begum has exceptional knowledge and skills. She excels in diagnosing and treating heart conditions including heart failure, coronary artery disease (CAD), valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, and many more. She also believes in prevention and therefore focuses on hypertension, cholesterol and multiple other conditions that can lead to heart diseases.

Dr. Vikas Jindal brings his expertise in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease to the team at HeartPlace Baylor Heart & Vascular Hospital. He welcomes new patients and continues to provide compassionate, individualized care to current patients at his office in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Hirak Sen MD FACC has recently joined the USHV/ HeartPlace team in Tarrant County. He is currently a triple board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Internal Medicine. He brings more than 20 years of busy clinical experience in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders. He has a special interest and expertise in the catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, complex device implantation and lead extraction. His guiding principle is to provide compassionate, high quality, and evidence-based care to his patients.   He has received many accolades of clinical excellence and has ranked in the top 95th percentile among all cardiovascular specialists per Healthgrades in 2023. He received his basic medical degree in India and obtained further training in hospitals in the UK and arrived in the US in 1993 for advanced training at Beth Israel Medical Center in the heart of New York City. Electrophysiology training was completed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the world-renowned program headed by Professor Masood Akhtar, one of the most prominent educators in the field.   Dr. Sen is married and his wife is also a physician.
