Dr. Healy earned his medical degree with honors from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Healy then completed interventional cardiology fellowship at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, followed by advanced training in structural heart, peripheral vascular, and complex coronary interventions. Born and raised in Seattle, Dr. Ostrom received his Bachelor of Science in microbiology from the University of Washington in 1999. Throughout his undergraduate studies, Dr. Ostrom was actively involved in cardiovascular research at the university and at the local biotechnology company ZymoGenetics, Inc.

Shortly after graduating, Dr. Ostrom began his medical studies at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency through the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) system. In addition, Dr. Ostrom pursued cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in West Carson, California, and at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center in Los Angeles. Arjun Makam, DO FACC, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist and a partner physician of Makam Medical in Anaheim, California. He holds board certifications in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, adult echocardiography, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology and clinical lipidology. With his medical expertise and modern approach to cardiovascular diseases, Dr. Makam ensures his patients receive the best cardiovascular care. 

Dr. Makam completed his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. After graduating, he pursued his doctorate in osteopathic medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. 

Following this, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Southern California and continued on as Chief resident of the program. His training aspiriations then took him to New Orleans, Louisiana where he completed fellowship in Cardiovascular disease at the John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute, where he also served as Chief fellow of the program.
