Dr. Begum received her medical degree from State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical College in New York. She subsequently completed 3 years of training in Internal Medicine followed by another 3 years of specialized training in Cardiovascular disease/cardiology. She then worked at SUNY Downstate as a faculty physician and Assistant Professor of Cardiology until she moved to Dallas. After that she worked at Texas Health Resource and Plano Presbyterian Hospital for several years as an attending Cardiologist. Dr. Nair began his medical journey in India, where he was formally trained in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Critical Care and awarded a Doctorate in Medicine. He completed further medical training in the United Kingdom prior to relocating to the United States.
