She went on to receive her Master of Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and board certification from the National Committee on the Certification of Physician Assistants. She holds memberships with both the American and Maryland Academies of Physician Assistants.
Aaryn's clinical experience in emergency medicine sparked a deep interest in cardiology, particularly in the proactive identification and management of cardiac conditions. Her subsequent work in endocrinology and neurology deepened her understanding of complex comorbidities, reinforcing the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Dr. Howard joins Cardiology Associates with over 22 years of experience in the practice of cardiology. He is board-certified in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and echocardiography, and is a Certified Specialist in Hypertension and Resistant Hypertension. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with Distinction in Research from Union College in New York, received his medical degree from the University of Rochester, and was an intern, resident, chief resident, and cardiology fellow at Boston University Medical Center Hospital, Boston, where he also received his fellowship training in interventional cardiology. He has practiced in several states, including Florida, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Pennsylvania, serving in various leadership roles, including director of echocardiography, director of several cardiac catheterization labs, chief of cardiology, and helped establish cardiology programs, cardiac catheterization labs, and echocardiography labs. He served as a consultant for a national organization, establishing best practices and providing quality and peer review services for hospitals across the US. Dr. Howard enjoys pheasant hunting, fly fishing, running, and downhill skiing. He lives on his farm in Pennsylvania with his wife, family, and four dogs.
