Dixon Cotten is an intrepid problem-solver whose family has been committed to providing medical care to Albany and Southwest Georgia for generations. He enrolled in Sherman College of Chiropractic in Boiling Springs, South Carolina and embarked on the journey toward starting Southern Spine and Health.
Originally a partnership with Cotten’s father — an esteemed orthopedic surgeon in Albany who passed away in 2013 — Southern Spine and Health reflects the family’s vision for a conservative approach to healthcare that responds with thoughtfulness and precision to the patient’s concerns. Cotten believes in rigorous analysis to craft individualized and creative treatment programs utilizing patients’ real-time diagnostic data. Alongside the center’s other medical professionals, he works tirelessly to offer non-surgical and non-invasive alternatives to manage pain.
Dr. Liza Clement is a proud new resident of Albany GA. Dr. Clement grew up on a farm in rural Killen, Alabama and is an avid outdoors-woman and equestrian. She attended Birmingham Southern College, graduating at the top of her class with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then attained her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta. She went on to do post-doctorate training in veterinary chiropractic, becoming certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA). She brings a one of a kind level of attention to every client and is excited to now bring her passion for helping people through holistic chiropractic care to the Albany community. Dr. Clement is dedicated and determined to help you reach your optimal health and wellness goals and looks forward to serving you and your family. In her spare time, Liza enjoys taking chiropractic mission trips, travel, riding horses, working out, and spending time in nature with her husband and 2 dogs.
Ron Register brings a deep understanding of the body's mechanics and the effectiveness of chiropractic treatment to his practice. A high school football injury at Deerfield-Windsor School in Albany led to periodic severe low back pain. After chiropractic adjustments, Register was relieved of this debilitating pain.
Register’s positive experience with chiropractic medicine eventually led him from Darton College and Georgia Soutwestern State University to Life University, where he graduated with honors from the College of Chiropractic in 2016. His expertise and commitment to service have motivated him to take annual mission trips to spread the opportunity for healthcare to less fortunate populations around the world. In Haiti, he recently adjusted a patient who was 102 years old, showing the kind of meticulousness and attention to detail that distinguishes him in the chiropractic field. Dr. Register is a member of First United Methodist church of Albany.
For Bradford Cotten, medical treatment begins and ends with his patient’s trust. He loves building the kind of open and honest relationships that lead to better medical services and, often, to connections that last well after patients no longer need care. Cotten says his easygoing and approachable manner was learned from shadowing his father, whose dream was to one day work with him.
Cotten’s interest in chiropractic medicine began with his own successful treatment. An avid outdoorsman, he suffered from neck pains so acute he could barely turn his head while deer hunting. A visit to a local chiropractor’s office cured him of that pain. After encouragement from his father, Cotten graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic and returned to Albany to serve his hometown by establishing an innovative medical practice. Dr. Cotten is a member of First United Methodist Church of Albany. He enjoys all the outdoor recreational activities that southwest Ga has to offer.
