Jaxon is a dedicated occupational therapist specializing in hand therapy. He is passionate about helping individuals regain function and independence in their daily lives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Movement Science with an emphasis in Exercise Science from Utah State University and a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain College. He is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist of the Upper Limb (COMT-UL).
Jaxon has primarily worked in outpatient hand therapy. His expertise includes the assessment and treatment of a wide range of hand and upper extremity conditions, such as fractures, tendon and ligament injuries, arthritis, nerve compressions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. He utilizes evidence-based practice, manual therapy, custom orthotic fabrication, therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activities, and patient education into his treatment plans.
Jaxon is originally from southeastern Idaho, and moved to Alaska in 2021. He lived in Nicaragua for two and a half years where he learned Spanish, he looks forward to the opportunity to continue practicing. Jaxon’s wife, Taylor, was born and raised in Palmer, Alaska and is an occupational therapist and local girls hockey coach. In their spare time they enjoy weight lifting, outdoor activities, traveling, gardening, playing pickleball and other sports. Jaxon is excited to continue providing care to the Alaskan community.

Ivy is a board-certified hand therapist with a doctorate degree in occupational therapy with over 10 years of experience helping people of all ages with a wide variety of shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions. She is also a certified manual therapist of the upper limb, and twice credentialed in trigger point dry needling.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Idaho, and her doctorate in occupational therapy from Creighton University in 2014.
Ivy has broad clinical experience in a variety of settings including Duke University Hospital, Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, and three focused rotations in outpatient orthopedics with the JBER 673rd Medical Group.
Her clinical responsibilities include the evaluation and treatment of post-surgical and conservative injuries of the upper extremity, dosing physical agent modalities for improved function and pain relief, and fabricating thermoplastic orthotics.
Ivy is proudly a lifelong Alaskan. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband and four children, hiking, and running.
