Alex Castano, MS, OTR/L, began his journey as an Occupational Therapist assistant in 2017 and has been practicing in the field of occupational therapy for four years. He sees patients at Precision Rehab Occupational Physical & Hand Therapy, which has offices in the Fresh Meadows area in Queens, New York City, and Little Neck, New York.

Alex began working in sub-acute rehabilitation before transitioning to hand therapy at Long Island Hand Therapy. While working as an OT assistant, Alex continued his education, obtaining a Masters of Science in occupational therapy at the New England Institute of Technology with a specialization in hand therapy in 2020. Alex continued improving his skill at Lenox Hill Hospital with rotations in the orthopedic and stroke department. In addition, Alex uses his experience as a personal trainer to maximize strength and endurance.

John DiLorenzo studied for his bachelor's degree at the Department of Occupational Therapy, York College of the City University of New York in Jamaica, New York. After graduating in 1996, he undertook his master's degree in science education specializing in cardiac rehabilitation and exercise physiology. In 2004, John DiLorenzo became a certified hand therapist (CHT).

John DiLorenzo worked as a certified personal fitness trainer, certified exercise specialist, and health fitness instructor at several distinguished local facilities and has accumulated over 20 years of experience treating the upper extremities. 

He was a director of occupational and hand therapy, which included clinical training and supervision of all physical and occupational therapists. He also developed many occupational and hand therapy clinics in the wider metropolitan area.

Dr. McPeak is a 1988 graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. He grew up in Cheltenham and after working for 3 years as an associate in Harrisburg came back home to start his own practice in the area. Dr. McPeak has over 30 years of experience treating musculoskeletal injuries pertaining to the spine, extremities, and adjacent soft tissues. Dr. McPeak’s has treated many patients for acute and chronic spinal pain, motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, post-surgical spinal problems, repetitive stress injuries/chronic extremity problems, and other difficult musculoskeletal issues.  Besides Chiropractic, Dr. McPeak is board certified in rehabilitation, physiological therapeutics, and Active Release Technique and has extensive knowledge in nutrition, exercise, and holistic activities designed to promote overall health and wellness. Dr. Angelucci graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. He was drawn to the field through his own experiences as an athlete overcoming injuries. Currently training to become a Selective Functional Movement (SFMA) clinician, Dr. Angelucci is focused on identifying and addressing the root cause of pain, rather than just the symptoms. Following his early training in Shiatsu, Ashtanga yoga, therapeutic bodywork and cranial and visceral manipulation, Dr. Hillenbrand trained and got his Doctorate at New York Chiropractic College. He focused on cultivating hands-on skills and went on to receive a master's degree in acupuncture from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Hillenbrand studied with world-renowned teachers, chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists and osteopaths and has received training in such modalities as manual lymphatic drainage, zero balancing and trigger neuromuscular and myofascial therapies. He is one of the few chiropractors and acupuncturists who have received both extensive manual therapy training and worked in hospital settings including Clifton Springs Hospital and the Rochester VA Medical Center. Zachary Dillow, DC, provides comprehensive chiropractic care aimed at helping his patients achieve the best health possible. He takes a holistic approach to care, focused on his patients’ whole health, not just their injury or disease. 

His goal is to find the underlying cause of his patients’ pain or health concern and design a plan that uses a combination of conservative chiropractic care, alternative therapies, and lifestyle modifications that optimizes health and wellness.   

After earning his bachelor’s degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Dr. Dillow earned both a master’s degree in nutrition and his doctor of chiropractic at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Joseph Simone, APN-C, RNFA, DC, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Doctor of Chiropractic and RN First Surgical Assistant, who provides compassionate care to our patients. Dr. Simone is dedicated to improving patients’ lives at Orthocenter and sees patients in all four locations: Red Bank, Morganville, Holmdel, and Eatontown, NJ.

Dr. Simone received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Harden-Simmons University (HSU) in Abilene, TX. He then achieved his Master of Science in Nursing from Samford University in Homewood, AL. Dr. Simone completed his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls NY.

Dr. Simone’s broad clinical experience and training range from primary care to geriatrics, orthopaedics, pediatrics, OB/GYN as well as Chiropractic care. He attained surgical experience and has been a part of many different OR procedures. He has retired from practicing Chiropractic medicine and decided to continue his career path in the direction of Orthopaedic and Interventional Pain Management Care at OrthoCenter.

Dr. Simone is a NIFA certified RN First Surgical Assist (RNFA). He is Board-Certified in Interventional Pain Management Procedures by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine (AAOPM). Dr. Simone continues to further his education in order to provide his patients with the latest state-of-the-art treatments that are available today.
