Dave Carry, DC, is an experienced chiropractor at Goodlife Physical Medicine, with three Los Angeles locations in Redondo Beach, El Segundo, and Torrance, California. Growing up, his parents both worked in the health care system, which inspired him to pursue a career in which he could help people.
Dr. Carry graduated from Western University (formerly the University of Western Ontario) in Canada with a Bachelor of Science in health sciences. While completing his undergraduate degree, he also worked at a hospital and noticed the health care system primarily treated sick patients but rarely educated people on healthy living habits. This inspired him to pursue chiropractic care, which emphasizes a proactive approach to health. Considered one of the top physicians in his field, Dr. Steve Mora is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports related trauma, knee, shoulder and arthroscopic treatment of the hip and the elbow. He has a passion for treating and preventing injuries related to mixed martial arts and soccer. Dr. Mora has unique perspective on orthopedic surgery, having suffered from serious orthopedic injury himself that required multiple surgeries and a lengthy recovery time. I believe that my success in diagnosing and treating orthopedic problems was borne out of my own personal traumatic injury to my legs. While living in Peru, I was struck by a commuter bus, severely injuring my legs and forever changing my life. I have experienced many of the same surgeries that I now perform on my own patients — and I believe this experience has allowed me to be more in tune with my patients’ concerns, symptoms and experiences.

Dr. Karen Tafreshi, DC received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in April 1994. She has been a licensed practicing chiropractor since January 1995, graduating top in her class from the Southern California College of Chiropractic in Pico Rivera, California.
She was honored to represent her graduating class as their Valedictorian. Her ambition as a Doctor of Chiropractic is to treat the problems, not the symptoms through natural pathways, and without the use of prescription medications and unnecessary surgeries whenever possible.
