I discovered my passion to make a difference in others’ lives when I began my career in Behavioral Health over 20 years ago. I am privileged to meet people and together we find the solutions to whatever life problems come into our lives. I have been consistently told by clients that they feel safe and comfortable talking about whatever brings them in and that they feel better when they leave a session. I never judge anyone about anything and am accepting and supportive. With years of experience and a strong educational background, my practice is dedicated to helping individuals achieve personal growth, healing, and overall well-being. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from various evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and client centered techniques. By tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client, I create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Melissa Grosvenor, PhD, M.S. CCC-SLP, I/ECMH-C, BCS-CL, is a board-certified child language specialist, credentialed infant mental health specialist, and owner of Express Yourself Pediatric Therapy, with locations in Palatine, Illinois, Bucktown, Chicago and Kensington, Maryland. She is highly qualified and a leader in her field.

Dr. Grosvenor completed her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois, and her doctorate in infant and early childhood development at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California. 

Dr. Grosvenor is also a credentialed DIRFloortime® provider. She has more than 10 years of experience teaching courses through the International Council on Development and Learning (ICDL), Profectum, and the Erikson Institute. 

She loves the “family feel” culture at Express Yourself Pediatric Therapy, where the thriving nurturing environment drives growth and development for the outstanding therapists, children, and their families. Dr. Grosvenor attributes much of her success to her two beautiful children, who teach her important lessons about child development and parenting.

Donna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping children and families feel understood, connected, and empowered. She brings a warm, relationship-centered approach and has extensive experience in both clinical and community-based settings.

Donna specializes in infant and early childhood mental health, trauma-informed care, and perinatal mental health. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinician and daughter of immigrants, she is deeply committed to providing culturally responsive, affirming care that honors each family’s unique story.

She works with:
