Hodsden
Beverly Hodsden has been a dedicated behavioral health profession for over 30 years. She has worked in nonprofit community mental health and addictions agencies as a counselor, clinical supervisor, program director, and consultant. She has worked in private practice for over 10 years. The last 5 years she has been with Sleep and Wellness Medical Associates increasing her knowledge and experience.
Beverly completed her Master's Degree in counseling in 1988 at Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey). Beverly is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Certified Clinical Supervisor.
Beverly has completed courses in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Albert Ellis Institute in New York. Recently Beverly has completely Level I and Level II trainings in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to treat trauma. She also attended workshops on new frontiers in trauma treatment led by Dr. Bessel Van der Kolk.
Beverly has experience working with adults, youth, couples, and families in the behavioral health field, particularly with matters of emotional health and addictions.
