I have experience working in an inpatient setting where I was assigned to a MAT unit (Medication-Assisted Treatment) and provided individual and group counseling services to patients who were suffering from addiction. I also have experience working in a detox setting and interned as a detox counselor as well. I have a strong belief that effective treatment comes from a client-centered approach that is achieved by patience, compassion, and honesty from the provider.
I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from addiction. Working with those in addiction has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the challenges they face and the importance of compassionate, personalized care.
My approach to treatment focuses on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore the underlying causes of addiction, build healthy coping skills, and develop resilience for long-term recovery.
