Alison Brienza is a board-certified pediatric dentist at Pediatric Dental Group of New York in Albany and Glens Falls, New York.
Dr. Brienza completed her undergraduate studies at Marist College, where she received a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. In addition, Dr. Brienza completed two years of advanced training at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine with a pediatric dental residency. At its conclusion, she received her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She is certified in advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.
Dr. Brienza is passionate about caring for each child, educating parents and children about their oral health, and preventing dental caries. She strives to make each child’s visit to the dentist a fun and pleasant one.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Brienza loves CrossFit and taking weekend trips to visit friends.
Molly Kovalesky, DDS, is a board-certified pediatric dentist serving patients at Pediatric Dental Group of New York, with two locations in Albany and Glens Falls, New York.
Dr. Kovalesky is originally from the Albany Capital Region and graduated from Ballston Spa High School. While completing her middle school science fair project, she discovered her passion for dentistry. She went on to shadow pediatric dentists in high school and immediately knew she was meant for the field.
An avid Syracuse fan, she attended Syracuse University for her undergraduate education in biochemistry. She went on to study at the University of Maryland in Baltimore for dental school and met her husband while living in Baltimore. She went on to complete her pediatric dental residency at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA where she obtained a strong medical foundation for her training in pediatric dentistry and learned the importance of establishing a positive relationship between patient and dentist from an early age.
Outside of pediatric dentistry, Dr. Kovalesky enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 crazy dogs. She may also be the biggest Disney fanatic you will ever meet.
Casey Tenniswood, DDS is a board-certified pediatric dentist serving patients at the Pediatric Dental Group of New York. Dr. Casey, as she is better known to her patients, grew up in Michigan. She completed her undergraduate studies in biology at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Afterward, she went on to the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery training, and performed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. Dr. Casey relocated to the Capital District over a decade ago and has enjoyed caring for thousands of children in the area. As a mother and a board-certified pediatric dentist, she believes that all children should have a dentist attuned to their specific needs and endeavors to make all appointments positive and encouraging for the patients and their families. When not at the office, Dr. Casey enjoys spending time with her husband, playing with her four sons, and running slowly in races.
