Dr. Nicholas Bett has been practicing dentistry for over ten years in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. After completing his undergraduate studies and obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biology from West Chester University in Pennsylvania, he attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Bett completed his dental education receiving a doctorate in dental medicine and specialty training in oral surgery and dental implants at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center (formerly Caritas Medical Center) and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. After his training, Dr. Bett returned to practice in Pennsylvania before finally relocating to Northern Virginia with his family. Dr. Bett is committed to providing the best quality of dental care to all patients. He brings extensive knowledge and experience in oral surgery especially in dental implants, bone augmentation, and regular dentoalveolar surgery as well as high-quality general and cosmetic dentistry. He has completed advanced studies at LVI Global, an international institution dedicated to the progress of dentistry and improving the lives of patients.  After graduating from Temple University, he practiced in the Philadelphia area before moving to Northern Virginia with my family. Dr. Tavakkoli has been practicing at our present location since 2004. 

He is a preferred Lumineers provider, a member of the Sleep Apnea Society, and a Preferred Invisalign® Provider. He has worked with Invisalign since 2000, when it first became available to the public. He has been recognized by Northern Virginia Magazine and Virginia Living Magazine as a Top Dentist and by The Consumers’ Research Council as one of America’s Top Dentists.

On a more personal note, Dr. Tavakkoli is married and has two daughters. He treasures his time with my family. He also enjoys playing soccer, tennis, reading, and is an avid sports fan.

Erica Ribenboim, DMD, is an Associate Dentist at Nova Dental Partners in Fairfax, Alexandria, and Woodbridge, Virginia. 

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Ribenboim attended Centre College for her undergraduate degree before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. With a strong passion for lifelong learning, she regularly attends continuing education seminars and has focused her attention on areas including Invisalign, cosmetic treatments like veneers and smile makeovers, and root canal therapy. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and has volunteered with Remote Area Medical Clinics, providing free dental care to those in need.

Dr. Ribenboim provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. She seeks to provide not only excellent care, but also strives to create a positive experience for her patients, understanding that many patients carry anxiety around trips to the dentist. Through listening and connecting with her patients, she seeks to relieve dental anxiety as much as possible through a calm and gentle approach to care.

Outside of work, she enjoys running, art, reading, traveling, and volunteers weekly with a local community garden addressing food insecurity in underserved areas.

Leah Coutts, DMD, is an Associate General Dentist at Nova Dental Partners in Fairfax, Alexandria, and Woodbridge, Virginia. She is committed to providing quality dental care while simultaneously creating a gentle, comfortable, and friendly environment for each patient. She prides herself on understanding each patient’s unique needs and making each patient feel at home in our office.

She received her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Neuroscience before she attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Shortly after, she completed an Advanced Education of General Dentistry Residency at the University of Connecticut. Although her formal education has come to a close, Dr. Coutts believes in the never-ending advancement of knowledge through continued education courses.

Dr. Coutts is a Boston native. When she is not in the office, she enjoys taking trips to New England to visit family and friends. She loves to try new restaurants/cuisines, travel, and spend time with her loyal canine companion, Zoey.
