Dr. Mortazie is one of the best dentist in the area. I needed an emergency extraction and bone graph placed in today and he made the sacrifice to put me in his schedule. I really appreciate him for that. I also really appreciate hShow moreim lowering the cost for me after the admin had already given me a price which included my previous insurance instead of my present status and he made changes to it and kept his word considering that I had traveled the whole hour. I was in such pain and my face was swollen due to the infection on my tooth. He took x-rays, evaluated the situation and gave me his astute opinion on the two options that I could take. Though I am in pain right now, and my face is still swollen, I am thankful for his sage recommendations and how he made time for me im his schedule to tend to my situation. Lastly, I I went to a different dentist in the Columbia/Ellicot City area, and he told me that the things that I was accustomed/requesting where things that a oral surgeon does and he couldn’t do those things as a regular dentist I look forward to seeing him soon to get the partials, and the other tooth worked on. Oh by the way, I also would like to thank Michelle for hew assistance in getting me the appointment and being helpful and persistent to get the job done. En español. Muchas gracias Sr. Mortazie. Michael Mortazie, DDS, brings considerable experience in general, preventive, and cosmetic dentistry to Revive Dentistry, serving men and women living in and around Washington, D.C.
Dr. Mortazie began his professional education at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where he earned his undergraduate degree in biological sciences. He subsequently enrolled at Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Following graduation, Dr. Mortazie participated in post-doctoral training in surgical and prosthetic dental implantology. He also completed a mini-residency with the renowned Steven Olmos, DDS, in orthopedic dentistry. These experiences established him as a leader in the fields of neuromuscular, implant, and cosmetic dentistry.
When Dr. Mortazie isn’t working with patients, you can find him furthering his professional skills and staying abreast of ongoing industry developments. I’ve had ongoing issues with my bite post major dental work. Dr. Mortazie and his team have been great, as we try to get it right.

Dr. Mortazie and staff are courteous, personable and professional. They talk you through your procedure and check regularly to ensure you are not experiencing discomfort. In the past I typically would take the day off after a dentist appointment. But this group here…they make sure I experience little to no discomfort and I am back to doing whatever the day requires me to do!! Give them a try! You will not be disappointed.

I don’t like to go to the dentist!! HOWEVER, this office was caring and calming. Everything was explained and the cost of the procedure was quoted prior to any work being performed. I highly recommend this office to anyone who fears dental work!
While I've had issues with stains on my teeth and am super self conscious, the hygienist did an excellent job at cleaning, and the encouragement to resume flossing from my past visit has reversed the onset of gum disease. I am very happy with my experience at Revive dentistry, and my teeth are visibly whiter- I want to smile more openly with my improving teeth!
