Howard Jeon, DMD, is a leading teaching and practicing maxillofacial prosthodontist with 20 plus years in general and cosmetic dentistry, with his main practice at Advanced Implant Dentistry & MedSpa of North Shore in Glenview, Illinois. He is one of only five maxillofacial prosthodontists active in the state of Illinois, and he strives to provide the utmost in visually appealing and functional results for each of his patients.
Dr. Jeon began his numerous years in academia at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts. Shortly after, he moved to Philadelphia to attend the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Jeon moved back to the Chicago area for specialty training in prosthodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He finished his formal training with a subspecialty fellowship in maxillofacial prosthetics and dental oncology at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Outside of Advanced Implant Dentistry & Medspa of North Shore, Dr. Jeon is both a teacher and an ongoing student of his discipline. He is an assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and lectures both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Jeon holds professional memberships with the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Congress on Maxillofacial Rehabilitation. Plus, he was an attending maxillofacial prosthodontist at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center for over 20 years.

Dr. Jacob Lake is the founder of the Illinois Dental Center and the Smile Maker Dental Center. Dr. Lake has practiced dentistry in Illinois for over 30 years and has been featured in the 1998 edition of the Who's Who book as a distinguished dentist. Dr. Lake is experienced in a wide range of advanced dental procedures and continues to obtain specialized training in the latest and most up-coming technologies. Dr. Lake is a father of three and a grandfather of four children.
Dr. Lakshmi Uppala graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago- College of Dentistry. She was an honor student at UIC and received the Dr. Kamlesh Amin Scholarship award, Dr. Leslie Braun award, and was nominated to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Society. She likes painting, dancing and loves spending time with the family during her free time. She speaks English, Hindi, Telugu, and Spanish.
Dr. Winnie Wilson did her dentistry in India before moving to US. She pursued DMD from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She enjoys different aspects of Dentistry, especially working with children of all ages.
In her spare time when she is not practicing Dentistry, she enjoys traveling, hiking and exploring the restaurants our Windy city offers.
