Dr. Alvina Lim is a fourth generation dentist. Born in California and raised in Indonesia, she was exposed to a variety of cultures at an early age. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee and her dental degree from Loma Linda University in California.

After graduating from a general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, she worked in New York for two years as a general practitioner. This is where her passion for pediatric dental care developed. She pursued additional specialized training in pediatric dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital where she served as Chief Resident. She continues to be held in high regard by distinguished professors and peers for her superb work ethic and her attention to detail.

Sliding Fee Scale

LaSante Health Center provides quality medical and dental services to everyone, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. We accept Medicare, Medicaid and various commercial insurance plans. Insured and uninsured patients may be eligible for discounted rates on a sliding fee scale, based on annual income and family size. Staff are available to assist patients in determining eligibility for participating in the sliding fee scale discount program. Azariy Yusupov, DDS, is an experienced orthodontist at Amazing Smiles Orthodontics, serving individuals and families at three locations in the New York City area, Mill Basin, Brooklyn; Forest Hills, Queens; and Five Towns in Cedarhurst, Long Island.
