Dr. Jackowski was born in New York City and raised on Long Island. He attended Syracuse University for undergrad (Go Orangemen!) but then realized cold weather was not for him and started looking for a dental school in the south. He attended and graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and decided Richmond was still not warm enough. He then visited and fell in love with the charm of the Charleston area.
In 1989 Rick gave away his winter coats and moved to sunny Mount Pleasant, where he opened his practice over 30 years ago. He and his wife, Krissa, have two daughters, Morgan and Kaitlyn. Spending time with his family is on the top of his to-do list, along with traveling to new places, boating, fishing, riding bikes, and reading.

Greg Johnson, DDS, is an experienced general dentist practicing at Pleasant Family Dentistry in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He considers it a great honor to help improve the smiles and oral health of individuals living in and around Charleston County.
Dr. Johnson is originally a native of Virginia and received his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Virginia Tech in 1985. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Sciences (DDS) from the Medical College of Virginia in 1989, and in that same year moved to Mt. Pleasant to start Pleasant Family Dentistry.
Dr. Johnson resides in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Vicki, who is a chemical engineer and a native of the Charleston area. Together, they have two daughters, Caroline and Hannah, and a Yorkie named Isabelle.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Johnson enjoys golfing, boating, traveling with family, playing the piano, and watching sports, especially the Virginia Tech Hokies!

Dr. Sarner was born and raised on Long Island, New York. After attending State University in Albany, he earned his DMD at Tufts University in Boston. He met his wife Melissa in school, and after spending two years back on Long Island, they moved to the suburbs outside of Boston, where they practiced for twenty-two years. After a couple of vacations to the Charleston area, they knew the charm and beauty of the area was calling.
Dr. Sarner is thrilled to be part of the team at Pleasant Family Dentistry. In addition to focusing on caring for his patients, he enjoys dining out, physical fitness, and martial arts. He is looking forward to enjoying the beautiful outdoors that the area has to offer.

Matthew McKeeman, DMD, is an experienced dentist practicing at Pleasant Family Dentistry, located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Dr. McKeeman grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia before attending Pennsylvania State University. After receiving his Bachelor of Science, he earned his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry at the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed a General Practice Residency at the Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Dr. McKeeman now resides in Mount Pleasant where he provides dental care for patients at Pleasant Family Dentistry. His goal as a provider is to be an advocate of oral health for each patient to help them achieve their ideal smile.
In his free time, he enjoys golf, cheering on his Nittany Lions on Saturdays and visiting his parents on Daufuskie Island.
