Dr. Timothy Blend, MD, FAAARM, FACEP, ABIM, is the founding director of The Blend Institute in Bradenton, Florida. At The Blend Institute, patients receive expert care for hormonal imbalances and chronic conditions with modern, innovative treatments for a range of health issues, from minor concerns to complex conditions.
Dr. Blend earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida, following his undergraduate studies. He completed his residency training at Kings County Hospital Center and University Hospital at the State University of New York (SUNY) in the greater New York City area. Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Blend completed fellowship training in anti-aging and regenerative medicine, earning the FAAARM designation.
Dr. Blend collaborates with his wife, Kimberly Blend, ARNP, a nurse practitioner. They founded The Blend Institute after Kimberly experienced side effects of perimenopause. Through continuing education and research into hormone therapies, the Blends developed a focus on natural cures for conditions and hormonal imbalances.
Dr. Blend is double board-certified through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (FACEP) and the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). He is equipped to manage complex and severe conditions.
With extensive training in medical weight loss, hypothyroidism, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, and advanced sexual wellness, Dr. Blend’s diverse background and experience make him an ideal physician for men, women, and transgender patients who have not found success with previous treatments.
