Deepak Das, MD, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine and sleep medicine physician. Natalia Marquis was born in Quito, Ecuador. After her honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps, she pursued a way to continue her service to the community and fulfill her duty as a protector of those in need. Natalia attended ECPI University and Chamberlain University, earning her Associate’s and Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.

After serving her North Georgia community as a nurse in multiple fields, in 2021, she achieved her final goal and graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Emory University. Natalia has been practicing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), performing physical exams, colposcopies, biopsies, interpreting labs, and other duties.

Dr. Syed earned her medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan, in 2002. Dr. Syed completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Moore House School of Medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, which provided her with extensive training in Internal Medicine and complex medical cases.

Born and raised in Vietnam, I came to the US at the age of 19. I obtained Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with the highest honor Summa Cum Laude at Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA in 1998. Then I graduated from Medical College of Georgia, GA, USA with a Medical Doctor degree in 2002. I completed residency in Internal Medicine at Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta, GA in 2005. I worked as a hospitalist and later primary care staff physician at Emory Healthcare System until 2006, then became a primary care staff physician for the Atlanta VA Medical Center until 8/2021. I also have been working part time in a private primary care office in Norcorss, GA. Over the years, I have befriended, worked and treated patients from different walks of life. I grew up in a poor, developing country. I worked my way through tremendous challenges to be where I am today. I believe in honesty, hard work, and humility. Compassionate care is what I practice because your health is our priority.

Rekha Kesavan, MD, is a board-certified internist specializing in women’s wellness. Dr. Kesavan provides patient-centered care at Comprehensive Primary Care in Lawrenceville and Suwanee, Georgia. Dr. Kesavan earned her Doctor of Medicine at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in Chennai, India, an affiliate of Harvard Medical International. She then relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to continue her medical training, completing her internal medicine internship and residency at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center. In practice for more than 10 years, Dr. Kesavan has developed an excellent reputation for her bedside manner. She is known for providing thorough examinations, answering all patient questions, and providing clear and concise explanations to her patients about their health issues and needs. Dr. Kesavan is a caring and knowledgeable provider who invests in the lifelong health of her patients and their families. A native of Gwinnett County, Dr. Kesavan lives in Duluth with her husband and daughter. Dr. Johnson completed her undergraduate studies at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL. Her activities included shadowing Primary Care physicians and volunteering at the Atlanta VA Medical Center ER. She then attended medical school at the Medical College of GA in Augusta, GA. 

During her medical school training, Dr. Johnson developed an interest in Internal Medicine due to her desire to care for the whole patient. She attended Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA for intern and residency training. She decided to focus on Primary Care because of her love of the relationships formed between patients and families as a Primary Care Physician.

In her leisure time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, singing, and being involved in her church. 

Dr. Andrea Teodorovic is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing compassionate, whole-person care to individuals and families across all stages of life. Originally from Vršac, a town in the northern Serbian region of Vojvodina, Dr. Teodorovic comes from a four-generation family of physicians. Her commitment to building lifelong relationships with patients is rooted in this strong medical heritage and a deep understanding of the human experience.

Dr. Teodorovic earned her medical degree from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine in Serbia, completing her studies in 2019. She continued her medical training in the United States through the Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she served as Chief Resident. During her time at St. Luke’s, she led impactful community outreach initiatives, including free health screenings and patient-education workshops. Her leadership secured a $25,000 grant to support these community health efforts.

Dr. Teodorovic speaks Serbian, Romanian, and English fluently, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient population. She cherishes time spent with her partner and their dog and embraces life’s simple pleasures—especially sharing good food and coffee with loved ones, a tradition close to her Balkan roots.

Himanshi Chopra, MD, is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine with a passion for preventive care, chronic disease management, weight management, and outpatient procedures. She is committed to helping patients achieve long-term wellness through compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based care.

Dr. Chopra attended Purdue University for undergraduate education and went on to receive her medical degree from International Medical University. She completed her Family Medicine residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital, where she excelled academically and clinically and served as Chief Resident of her program.

During residency, Dr. Chopra was deeply involved in community outreach, a commitment inspired by her father’s teachings. She led numerous quality improvement, research, and patient education initiatives. In recognition of her leadership and dedication, she received the prestigious Graduate Medical Education Excellence Award from the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2021, an honor recognizing her as one of the top 12 resident physicians in the nation. Dr. Chopra credits this achievement to her mentors, educators, and patients, whose support continues to inspire her passion for medicine.
