I had an overnight sleep study done recently. I was greeted at the door by the technician, wearing a face mask for safety sake, and escorted to my sleeping room. He explained what would happen and made me feel comfortable. In a lShow moreittle while, he returned to prepare me for the study by wiring me up. There were leads attached to my body which would serve a variety of purposes. Some would measure tension in my jaw, others would keep track of my eye movements, still others would register movement of my legs during the night. He explained the purpose of each lead as he applied them to me. He was very informative and made the entire visit very rewarding. He put me at ease. He explained that I would be observed by a camera during the night, but that if I needed his assistance for anything, I only had to tap on the bed's headboard and he would come back to the sleep room to assist me. I spent the night in comfort and two days later I spoke with Dr. Das over the phone about the results of the study. I am very satisfied with my experience at Athena Medical Clinic and I'd recommend it to anyone having sleeping problems.
Dr Das is an exceptional physician. I have been a patient for 12 years. He was able to quickly diagnose my sleep apnea and significantly reduce my awful snoring with bipap. I have other issues that are related to sleep, and with hShow moreis diligent testing in 2010, he discovered a life threatening issue that changed the course of my life. Dr Das has always been supportive, very thorough and does not rush the visit. The entire office staff makes the visit run smoothly. There was less than a 10 minute wait. Deepak Das, MD, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine and sleep medicine physician. After earning his Doctor of Medicine in Internal Medicine at the Patna University in Bihar, India, Dr. Das relocated to the United States to complete his internship and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey. He then moved to New Hampshire and, after developing a strong interest in sleep medicine, completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Dr. Das (and his staff) continue to deliver the most compassionate and all-encompassing health care to me and my family. Dr. Das doesn't just read the lab results and prescribe drugs to correct them. He looks at the whole person, what they are dealing with in their life, and provides the best care for that person. I don't know what we'd do without him and his staff.

I suffered a severe spasm in my lower back; I arranged a televisit with Doctor Das and he called in a prescription right away. In a matter of a couple of hours I had some much-needed relief from excruciating pain. Thank you Doctor Das!
