Dr. Rahul Deo, MD, PhD, cardiologist, was born and raised in Canada and earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and PhD in Biophysics from the Rockefeller University. He completed his internal medicine and cardiology training at the Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's and Massachusetts General Hospitals and is faculty at Harvard Medical School. He is a pioneer in applying technology to medicine and strives to ensure all patients have access to excellent cardiac care, regardless of their location.
Anita Banerjee, MD, FACC, is an experienced cardiology specialist at Premier Cardiac and Vascular in Annandale and Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is a female cardiologist and patient-centered physician who, instead of just prescribing medications, focuses on helping her patients make lifestyle changes to improve heart health.
After securing a scholarship and earning her medical degree from Odessa National Medical University in Odessa, Ukraine, Dr. Banerjee went on to complete her residency training in Internal medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York. She remained there to complete her fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease, specializing in Non-Invasive Cardiology. She also performed extensive research in Heart Failure under Drs. Dr. Varma has nearly a decade of experience working in acute care, primary care, and skilled nursing facilities as a hospitalist/internist in the states of New York and Virginia. His focus of research has been chronic Hepatitis B and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Varma has co-authored a case report published in Chest Journal on Dengue Shock Syndrome in 2015.
